I've been getting emails from men asking the same questions over and over again. So this page will give answers to some of those common questions.

Q. The girl I've been talking with on line tells me that she can arrange for a visa and come to the USA to meet me. But she is short of money to pay for her ticket and visa, should I send her a few hundred dolars that she needs?

A. NO! If this is what your "girl" is telling you, then you've been talking to a scammer. 99.99999% of the time a single Russian woman can not get a visa to come to the USA. The only way she can come here is by YOU initiating a fiance visa (K-1) process. In order to be aligible for that you will first have to travel to Russia to meet your girl and have a proof of that for the Department of Homeland Security. A lot of scammers will not use their own photos, they steal the photos of girls from legitimate ads on free local Russian websites. So checking if your girl is listed on "anti-scam" websites where they list "known" scammers might not work for you. As a matter of fact you might see a photo of a real, legitimate girl there that was used by a scammer, but she actually has nothing to do with a scam. Remember that for a scammer it's as easy as rightclick and "save as" to steal some girls photos and use them to scam men with. So don't assume anything, use your head. I can help you avoid any possibility of getting scammed and find real, honest, family oriented Russian women with great values.

Q. But she sent me a picture of her passport and visa!!!

A. Have you heard of Photoshop?

Q. What are the requirements to be able to bring a Russian woman to the US?

A. You must be an American citizen, you have to provide a proof that you had met her in person, and you will have to show your income taxes for the past 3 years, and your adjusted gross income has to be 20K a year or more since they require that you sign an affidavit of support for her for the 90 days that the Fiance visa is good for. You will have to sign another affidavit of support if you decide to get married and she stays in the US. Basically they want to make sure that you can afford to support her and that she doesn't become a burdain on tax payers.

Q. I live in Canada / Ireland / UK / Peru, etc. etc. can you still help me find a good, family oriented, down to earth woman that will be my soulmate?

A. Yes, my method will work the same no matter where you live. I can help you locate and get to know your soulmate. The only thing I won't be able to advice you on is the immigration procedure in your country. I went through this here in the USA so I know every detail of bringing a Russian girl here, but in your country the immigration laws might be different and you will have to find out what they are.

Q. What is the approximate cost of getting a Russian fiance to the USA ?

A. I would say that no matter how you go about it, if you do everything right you will spend in the area of $12 to $15K to find, get to know, meet in person a couple of times and bring your fiance to your country (and it will be worth every penny!). If you do this on your own and learn as you go, then only God knows how much you're gonna spend on scammers, crooked agencies, pro-daters, multible trips to Ukraine, etc. etc. Most of my clients come to me already after they had spent (read wasted) $20K to $30K and the worst part is that they are still "single and looking" on top of "frustrated" and "dissillusioned". An expensive lesson I'd say! If you are just starting your search you can save yourself a small fortune and years of frustration by using some one like me to guide you. How much you will spend also depends on your location. Australians will spend more money since they will pay almost 3 times more for air tickets compared to Americans or Canadians. Europeans on the other hand will pay around 3 times less for air travel expences than US or Canadian men.

Russia is a very expensive place to visit. food in the supermarkets costs a little less than in the US, but restaurants are 2,3,4 times more expensive, hotel prices are outrageous for what you get for your money... Keep in mind that prices vary greatly between, say Moscow, Russia and Krivoy Rog, Ukraine. A decent Moscow hotel will cost you $200 a night and that's the cheapest one, off ceason! During summer months hotel in Moscow can run you $300-$600 a night for something like Holiday Inn or Ramada Inn. But If you choose to bring me alone with you I know how to rent a very nice apartment near the center of Moscow for $150 and that's for both of us!!! So if we take a 2 week trip to Moscow I can save you 4K to 6K just on the hotel alone!

The rest of the money that you will spend weather you use me or not will include the cost of phone calls, air tickets and visa to go to Russia and back at least once (but you really should go there at least twice), tickets for your bride to come here once her visa is approved (most likely you will have to pay for those). The cost of hotel, transportation, food and entertaining your prospective brides while in Russia. The US immigration application fees (now department of homeland security) , etc.

Q. Once you submit all the paperwork to the department of homeland security, how long will it take for your fiance to get her K-1 visa to come to the USA?

A. This may vary, but on everage it takes about 6 months. If you do not submit all the paperwork correctly, it may take a lot longer. It takes immigration people forever to get back to you just to tell you that you need to correct and re-submit a form, and once you submit the corrected form it will take an eternity for them to process it...I've heard stories of people waiting for 2 years...But if you do it right it can be as quick as 4 months! So apply all your dilligence when filling out those forms and ask questions if you are not sure about something. I can help you with doing the paperwork as well.

Q. How hard is the VISA process, what should I expect?

A. In short, you have to show enough income and assets to prove your ability to support your fiance while she is here in the US, you will have to sign an affidavit of support, and then another one if you marry. There is a tricky issue for selfemployed people that we can discuss once you become a client.

Q. I would prefer to start with an online service and have you translate for me. Which one do you recommend?

A. Many of the mailorder bride agencies are running scams. Some intentionally others unintentionally by subcontracting many small little agencies, mostly in Ukraine. IMO most of those agencies are scam operations running "pay per message" scam," send gift and flowers" scam, and the women who work for those crooked agencies are "professional daters". You can wind up spending a small fortune with them and at the end wind up with nothing.

Q. When is the best time to visit Russia?

A. - definitly summer! Winters are too damn cold there...

Q. How do i start? what do you need to start?

A. To get started I will need everything you would use to create an ad on any American dating site. i.e. your stats, your short bio and description, interests, hobbies, who you would like to find and 3-4 of your best photos. I highly recommend at least one formal photo (jacket and tie).
I will translate it to Russian and place it on local Russian dating sites. I will also need to get as much info as possible about what kind of woman you are searching for i.e. stats: age, height/weight, smoker/non-smoker, kids/no kids, blonds/brunettes/no difference, anything that is important to you I will use in my search.

Q. Do I have to fly all the way to russia? or can there be half way?

A. - You don't have to meet in Russia. It can be anywhere in the world where she would be able to travel to. You just need to document the fact that you have met her in person for the DHS when applying for a Fiance visa for her. Many family oriented (homey type) women might not risk going somewhere to another country to meet a man they only got to know over the internet. They really have no way of knowing that you are not a psycho or some kind of a pervert. Even if you do get to know each other very well on line with my help, a woman might not be brave enough to travel somewhere to meet you and would prefer to meet you on her home turf. Also I think it would make a lot more sense to line up at least 2-3 women to meet in case things don't work out with one of them - you have a back up plan. Otherwise if the chemistry is not there when you meet in person, you would have wasted all that time and money and have to start from scratch. So in my experience it's best to line up 3-4 women and then go meet with them in Russia.

Q. what's your charge for your service?

A. - For the initial "SEARCH and COMMUNICATION, GETTING TO KNOW each other" stage I charge $160 a week. I
will spend 5 hours a week searching, translating letters and I also will translate live up to 3 phone calls a week up to 15 minutes each (you will make a 3-way call to your lady and me and I will translate in real time) You can find all this info on my web site's
Services page. I charge a sign up fee of a $1,000. These prices are subject to change. Keep in mind that you will be getting a personal VIP sevice unlike any that are currently available. There is one legit agency that I know of that offers similar service but they charge double of what my fees are. Furthermore, many men come to me after they had already spent $30 or $40K on scam and useless trips to Ukraine dating prodaters (let's just call it the "Learning Curve"). That is money wasted. With my help you can skip all the BS and find your soulmate in a matter of just a few months.

Q. Help!!! I'm in Moscow now and will be here for 3 more months. I see thousands of gorgeous women all over the place, it's unbelievable! But how the hell do I meet them? I went to some night clubs, but women there are kinda sleazy...seem more like hookers...I really would like to find a nice, down to earth girl while I'm here and if things work out, maybe bring her back to the USA and get married. Please help!

A. Yes, I can easily help you find some decent women to date while you are there. Contact me for more detail.

More useful tips for success to find a good Russian wife:
1. Forget the mailorder bride agency hype! Russian women a) are not looking "to get out" of Russia any longer, and you are not going to be doing a girl "a favor" by bringing her to the USA. b) they do care about a man's age and appearence. Really wide age gaps can be a dangerous territory.
2. You will have to travel to Russia before bringing a woman here in order to qualify for the K-1 (fiancee visa). Generally they can't come to your country on a tourist visa to visit you and most good women wouldn't anyway even if they could.
3. You won't be able to do this "on the cheap". most men who do marry Russian women successfuly spend between $25K and $50K. There is a way to do this for about $15K but you really must know what you are doing and have plenty of local knowledge. Keep in mind that many men spend $30 to $40K on scam, pro-daters and other scum bags who know exactly how to extract your hard earned money from you. So $15K is a bargain, considering it includes all your expences like travel, accomodations, meals, my services, etc, etc. and even USCIS application fees for K-1 visa.
4. Beware of agency scams like pay per message scam, send gifts and flowers scams and professional dater scams.
5. If you get contacted by a "Russian woman" out of the blue by email or on American dating sites like yahoo personals or match - beware! 99.9999% is that it's a scam.
6. be realistic in your expectations. If you are an average looking guy, making an average living don't try to look for a model quality glamour girl. Russian women are generally slim and a lot prettier in general than Western women, so even an "average" looking Russian girl will look like a "9" here in the US. Look for women 25yo and up and in a 10-15 year age gap. That's your best bet.
